Algonquin Airlink began as a corporate flight division for an Algonquin Power Systems in 1994. Algonquin Power is an open-ended investment trust established under the laws of Ontario. The Fund owns direct interest or equity in hydroelectric, co-generating, alternative fuels and infrastructure facilities. In 2006 Algonquin Airlink decided to spread it wings and has grown into its own entity.
